Nichole Monico Nichole Monico - Artistic Director
Nichole Monico is not new in this area. She has been involved in dance for over 25 years. She danced compeitively for 13 years in major competitions throughout the United States, winning numerous awards and titles. She has taught dance classes and solos for over 15 years, winning numerous awards in choreography. Nichole has been involved with many theatre groups, choreographing shows for Johnson City High school and Binghamton High School .  She has also assisted in the implementation of the dance course for Johnson City High School, helping students achieve their fine arts diplomas. Nichole has coached and provided choreography for local cheerleading squads, and donated her time to local church groups in their endeavor to participate in the arts. Nichole has been both student and teacher in the dance field and prizes herself in using both of these experiences to better teach her students and understand them.

Rebecca Donlick - Teacher/Choreographer
Becky graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam in 2001 with a degree in Music and Special Education, and in 2009, she retained her masters from Boston University. She has been involved in the arts all throughout her life including dance, choral, instrumental, and musical theater. Becky has been teaching at Dancescapes since 2003 and has received awards for her choreography at various competitions.  We are excited to have the experience and diversification Miss Becky has added to the Dancescapes team.

Holly has been dancing for over 20 years and has loved every minute of it! She began studying dance at age three with Miss Colleen Ensby who she later worked and choreographed for. Then while obtained her Master of Arts in Music industry and Audio Production at the State University College at Oneonta she was involved in the Terpsichorean Dance Company and Oneonta State Kickline. She also studied dance at Oneonta under Shannah Kane, Michelle Gardener, and Mary-Jo Merk. After she graduated Holly continued her dance studies at Arthur Murray Dance Studios, Puttin On the Ritz with Donna O’Neil and DMB Dance Productions with Danae Bader of So You Think You Can Dance all while teaching at several dance schools in the Syracuse area. Holly found her way to Binghamton when she obtained a job as the Promotions Director and On-Air Personality at a local broadcasting cluster. While she has studied various types of dance such as: ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, ballroom and folk, she has always gravitated towards hip hop and is proud to be teaching at Dancescapes. She also has certifications in Personal Fitness Training, Zumba, and CPR to be able to better assist her students as needed

  Samantha Vyner - Teacher/Choreographer
  Samantha graduated from Kent State University in 2010 with a degree in  Dance Education.
 She taught dance during the 2010-2011 school year at Cecil County public schools in Maryland.
 She has taught and choreographed at numerous dance studios in Ohio and Maryland.
 Samantha has taken workshops with Alvin Ailey, Jump Rhythm , Leanne Schmitt,and many others.
 She is currently working on her  education with Dance Masters of America.
 Samantha is excited to be in  New York and start a new journey with Dancescapes.
 Allison Ruskin - Teacher/Choreographer
 Allison Ruskin has join Dancescapes this year to teach Modern dance.  Allison is qualified to                                            instruct ballet, modern (Graham or Horton based), jazz, and tap.  Her training is from The                                                 Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and The New Jersey School of Ballet.  Allison is eager to                                           share her passion for dancing and to teach dancers how to communicate feeling through their                                             movements.  Allison is also a graduate student in Literature/Creativ a tBinghamtonUniversity.                                            We are excited to have her on our team.
